The recent onslaught of freezing temperatures has brought a rare breed out of hibernation in the St. Louis area- the cold snob. Cold snobs like Oscar Rodriguez, 16, refuse to acknowledge the biting winter cold in the midst of 4 degree air temperatures, proudly wearing their summer shorts and denying any discomfort, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Tuesday. "Cold?" he said. "This isn't cold. Not really. My mom keeps telling me to wear pants instead, but my legs don't get cold," Oscar said. "It's not that bad." UPS driver and St. Louis native Michael Henson says it's been years since he wore long pants to work. "If it gets to zero degrees with 15 to 20 mph winds, I have to make a decision," he said. "Other than that, there's no problem."
He's not so much a snob, more a childish pathetic attention seeker
well he got what he wanted.
Sadly yes people will never learn.
He will learn however, when he suffers frostbite, and loses his legs.
maybe in the work he does he enjoys wearing shorts. were all quick to jumpt to he's doing it for attention. i for one hate wearing coats. They are just to big and bulky. My husband and mom are always harping on me to wear it. I'm sure as hell not doing it for attention. I wear shorts and a tank top around the house in the winter to. does that mean i am seeking attention. from who my husband that i don't need to seek it from. i get it anyway. or from my cat or dog? me thinks not. smiles,

I have a friend who lives in Colorado. He wears shorts year round. Personally, I couldn't do it, but more power to him.

My brother just wears a sports jacket over a shirt in the winter. No wonder he has a cold.
No wonder indeed. I mean you'd think he'd at least put a pair of boxer shorts on, if only for decencies sake!
